Highway A7 Carchuna-Castel de Ferro viaducts, Spain
Manufacture, delivery and assembly of Double-T beams and Decks for three different viaducts at the A7 highway in Spain between Carchuna and Castell del Ferro.
A total of 3 double-T viaducts were executed, having a depth of 2.45 m and beams of up to 46.8 long, with isostatic structure, and weighing up to 100 t.
PACADAR transported and assembled the beams to their final position on the 40 m piers. Our Department of Transport and Assembly carried out the feasibility study needed for obtaining the special transport permit, and also designed the lifting procedure, which required several crawler crane of up to 500 t.
