PACADAR has completed the works for the construction and assembly of precast elements for the enlargement of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Jaume I University in Castellón, Spain.
The new building, similar and next to the one already existing, has been totally built with precast concrete elements such as columns, flooring beams, hollow-core slabs and closure panels.
This project had technical complexities given the slenderness of the structure, so the beam-column joints were designed as statically indeterminate in the narrowest part of the building, and the columns were executed with two pieces attached together by a screw system.
In little more than 4 months, PACADAR manufactured and carried out the assembly of the elements for the whole structure, thus strengthening its sound and extensive experience in the building construction sector and specifically in the precast concrete field.
