Saudi Arabia Tunnel Linings Factory
PACADAR implemented a precast concrete on-site plant specialized in manufacturing of metro tunnel linings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an investment in the project exceeding 6 million euro.
PACADAR Arabia started production at the end of 2014 and created over 150 direct jobs.
The city of Riyadh has 5.7 million inhabitants and according to official estimates, this figure will increase to 8.3 in 2030. Therefore, the deployment of suburban transport system represents an optimal solution to daily traffic problems.
With this project PACADAR started its activity in the countries of the Arabian Peninsula. The project in Saudi Arabia is clearly a major milestone and a global reference due to its very demanding deadlines and quality conditions.
