Pacadar supplies precast beams for the Malaga metro in the frame of the construction of the track infrastructure and superstructure for lines 1 and 2, in the section: Guadalmedina – Atarazanas. The project has the particular feature that it is carried out in two phases.
The construction company responsible for the project is the joint venture Metro Atarazanas, formed by the companies Sando and Acciona, and which has obtained the certification of Technological Innovation in R+D+i for the design of a construction method that safeguards the archaeological remains found.
PACADAR's precast beams used for the deck of the Tetuan Bridge are JAGUAR-type I beams with a depth of 90 cm. These are 78 beams of 17 and 22 metres in length, with permanent-formwork slabs between beams, arranged in 4 spans.
Manufacturing is carried out at the factory in Utrera (Seville), which is one of the permanent factories that PACADAR has in Spain to cover the domestic market, thus meeting the client's expectations in terms of delivery times and quality.
