Pacadar has executed the structure for a centre for the processing, packaging and distribution of food products, owned by the Group El POZO, in the municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid.
The project, whose main contractor is SACYR, involves a completely precast structure in an area of 22,000 m² and consists of a variety of types of precast elements, which adapt to the needs that these modern and highly automated facilities require. These precast elements are columns (of up to 18 m manufactured in a single section), beams (of up to 42 m in length), hollow-core slabs, purlins, walls, cladding panels and stairs. The connections of the columns with the foundation have been carried out by means of a bolted joint that, despite requiring a great precision, guarantees a high safety and speed of assembly of the structure.
